10th Anniversary Concert: We Are Hypatia (Dawn to Decade)

dimanche 21 décembre 2025 à 20:00:00 UTC

St. Matthew’s Anglican Church
130 Glebe Avenue
Ottawa, Ontario K1S 2C5
Canada

Join us for a special anniversary concert celebrating our 10th season!
The concert centers around the world premiere of DAWN, composed by Laura Hawley and commissioned specifically for this milestone.

Our program also features selections hand-picked by the chorus members themselves, giving you a beautiful glimpse into the heart of our choir. Prepare to be immersed in the lush, six-part a cappella arrangement of Rheinberger’s Abendlied ,  Hildegard von Bingen’s O Virtutis Sapientiae, arr. by Katerina Gimon, the iconic tones of Gordon Lightfoot’s Song For a Winter’s Night, among other treasures.

To make this occasion truly unique, we’re thrilled to welcome back two former Artistic
Directors as guest conductors:

They will join our current Artistic Director, Christopher Ducasse, on the podium for this exciting celebration!

Tickets: Pay what you can, starting at $15, online or at the door.
